  • Professor Ana Luengo has published several articles this fall. Additionally, she has written a book called Lucas Tiene Superpoderes, published by Bellaterra Editorial. 
  • Professor Masahiko Minami has published a few articles, including one titled, "Language Acquisition Theories and Japanese Language Education" in the Journal of Japanese and Chinese Linguistics and Japanese Language Teaching. Additionally, Professor Minami has a book titled Socially Oriented Linguistics appearing in November 2017, published by Kurosio Publishers. He will also be presenting at the Foreign Language Association of Northern California (FLANC) 2017 Conference, with his presentation titled "New Developments in Japanese Language Education: Intercultural Education from the Perspective of Cross-Cultural Psychology." 
  • Professor Anne Linton will be presenting a paper at the Nineteenth-Century French Studies Colloquim, on a panel called: Disordered Bodies. Her discussion for the event will be titled: Deviant Bodies: Sex Change, Technology, and Popular Fiction in Nineteenth-Century France.
