Overview

Department of Modern Languages and Literatures
STUDENT ART/DESIGN CONTEST

Do you consider yourself an artist? Do you want to see your artwork displayed across the university's physical and digital spaces (and win a $100 gift card from Michaels)? If so, do not miss this opportunity.

We are looking for artwork made by SF State students for use on posters to promote the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures' three brand new certificates:

  • Certificate in Modern Language Learning & Teaching
  • Certificate in Multilingual and International Tourism Competencies
  • Certificate in Multilingual & International Business Competencies

Any design that you submit will be considered for all three certificates, and need not be discipline specific. If you are interested, follow the guidelines below and submit your work by April 15, 2026 to mll@sfsu.edu, with the title "Art Contest MLL".

If you have any questions, please contact aluengo@sfsu.edu
